holidayz almost done

Well, we definately ate too much this season. But it was so delicious!

We went to Antioch, IL this year to be with Tom's family. A six hour drive, I checked out a book on tape from the library 'Where the red fern grows'. I had forgotten how sad that story was.

The visit with famliy was alot of fun, Perry came with us and got to meet Kobi (he's a bit older dog). Kobi wanted to sniff Perry's butt and hump him all weekend. Perry was like "this must be some kind of new game". He didn't know what was going on. dogs...!

My mom, cousin Charlie and Marzena are coming to our house today. They should be here in the afternoon. I don't know what we'll do. Maybe we'll go snowshoing. Tom and Charlie were going to go snowmobiling but the stupid snow keeps melting.

Here's a new blog I've been working on. It's for the frame shop.
I'm hoping it will serve as an informal kind of website for now.
It's been fun doing it so far.

It's supposed to snow lots and lots this week.

We are working on putting a new stairway in the house. The other one was not close to being up to code, so we tore down the old stairs and basically starting from scratch. The pics show a before and mid-project. We got rid of the BLUE color and made it green. Tom's not sure he likes the green yet. I like it though. Hopefully, this weekend we'll be able to get a good start on the stairs. Indi, the cat, sure misses climbing up and around the stairs. :)
