july 8th in Illinois

Last weekend, we went to Illinois.
Tom's little brother, Steve, got married to Amanda!

We took Friday and Saturday off from work.
It was a long hot drive because the a/c in the car is broken.
But, once we got to Tom's parents house, we took a swim in their pool.












During the car ride, we listened to a book on tape by Bill Bryson, titled "In a Sunburned Country" - Really good.
Bryson is my new favorite author. Other books I've read by him are "A Walk in the Woods" and "Made in America" http://www.randomhouse.com/features/billbryson/flat/home.php
He is hilarious to read AND informative at the same time.
